Mr Sasquatch,
I know you didnt ask for criticism, but I think I can offer you a few pointers.
First off, the bend in your stem is way too smooth and refined.
What your going for is angular, one single sharp dramatic bend a half inch from the bit.
Also, your bit should be thick enough to withstand abuse from teething mongrel puppies, at least 3-4 times thicker than what you have here.
The stain you use is very important.
Kids these days dont really go for muted wood grains. Refer to a some medical books for insight on more natural color combinations.
Sickly hues of purplish-brown and inflamed shades of red and orange will catch the eye (and wallet!) more quickly.
The last part is more subjective, however a smooth pipe is a boring pipe.
You could add some well placed fills around the bowl, or ask your supplier for a more interesting grade of material. Either way, I've tried (as much as I possibly can) to clean up your pipe in photoshop and hopefully point out some changes that
could be made in the future.
