Well, I would like to think that with much of your guys' advice, I have finally made soem progress. Please let me know what you think.

Generally speaking, you don't want the bottom of the bowl to be lower than the bottom of the shank on a straight pipe. I'd make that a really straight line. Also, you want a lot more definition between shank and bowl. Keep working at it!
On the up side, I think it's really cool that you used that old pic of Rad Davis as the background for the first image. I didn't know he likes apples.
