Todd is a POOP-HEAD, Todd is a POOP-HEAD, Todd is a POOP-HEAD, Todd is a POOP-HEAD! And................he's mean! Every time we work together, he insults me. My feelings get hurt, bad. He thinks he knows everything. All I've learned from him is to be a prick. So, you're a POOP-HEAD, Todd Johnson. Ho...

I'd be Beaumont and Bubba's offspring that it is NOT a BBB (Britian's Best Briar).

Re: BBB Pipe question
I feel certain the pipe was made by Bubba's Beautiful Briar. Bubba was a pipe maker, of note, hailing from Bogalusas, LA. His father, Beaumont, was a mill worker that had made pipes as a hobby and Bubba wanted to follow in his footsteps. The 328 has a special meaning: Bubba had 3 sisters. 2 had chil...

As for the implicating, dope references in some of the posts, above, they are just that, dopey, and unnecessary, childish, and stupid. Don't insult this artist anymore for fear you will drive him away, and lose the gift of his vision, and be left with only your own moronic stupidity. HA! You said d...

Re: Epoxy Notes (Conap K-22 Black EasyPoxy)
I believe I could have made a couple of pipes in the time spent testing.
A dollop of epoxy, a dollop of hardener, mix, apply.
Wish I could speed up the process.

Alright, so, this one is bamboo, african blackwood, pink ivory, bocote, brass rod, sea snail shell accents, and cocobolo. All joints are reinforced with aluminum tube. The wooden hinges are also glued with brass rod to reinforce the joint. The hardest part, was finishing it without getting the litt...

These work just fine for pretty much everything you'll need to do. I eventually found the 9 x 20's limiting and went to a 12 x 36. Now the 9 x 20 feels like a tinker-toy, but it's all just a matter of perspective. I would also recommend holding onto the other lathes. TJ I have just ordered a metal ...
