Introduce & first pipes

Post by heri »

So I finally decided to show up from lurking and introduce.
Im 22 yo student studying management, living in Slovakia (EU). To the pipemaking i got half a year ago, since then i was collecting some info about it and trying to get my tools ready for making. In past month i finally made something and decided to show.
This is my 1,3,4 pipes, and there is a lot of space to improve at.
Thanks Marek

Are these filter pipes? Shanks seem a little chubby, but I guess you don't have much of a choice if there are filters in there. I Like the bowls shapes, they are very well done.

"but rev, isn't smoking a sin?"

well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin

"but what would be smoking to excess?"

Why smoking two pipes at once of course

Great pipes! I especially love the volcano. I'm a newbie as well and have tried that shape and failed twice, you hit it pretty well. Great birds eye!

It also looks like you may be making your own stems, way to go! I am not there yet.

Very nice! The shanks look a little big as already mentioned. The bowl on the billiard looks like it dips below the shank. They should be a continuous line. First pipes...excellent job. Keep 'em coming.
