New Pipe and Website

Post by VaVa-Bangkok »

Half a year with many new pipes and a new website, so there has not been much time to put pipes in, but now there are a few, and the new website http://www.vava-pipe.com has been completed, some who have a comment about it or the pipe, I will be very happy.

Beautiful pipes. The rim on the first is just great. The stem design on the last one is not my favorite, but the contrast stain is really well done.

I agree with previous comments! Very nice pipes and great photos!

If you don't mind me asking, how do you get those nice rims towards the tobacco chamber so well stained without any leaching into the raw wood in the chamber?

Best regards

These are beautiful pipes, Carsten. Very nice shapes and nicely executed. Your website looks great too! It seems you are already off to a very good start as a pipe maker.

Thanks for all comments - almost too much but everyone makes me happy.

Jon, I am very careful when I stained close to the tobacco champer, and I use a piece of soft paper in the tobacco champer for absorb some of the dyes, after finish the pipe I clean the tobacco champer up with find sandpaper.
