2 pipes

Post by billiard »

Howdy everyone,

Just thought I would show a couple pipes I recently made so folks know I am still alive.

First here is my Halloween pipe:

I did a fun halloweeen write up for this pipe and if you have a moment check it out here: http://billboylepipes.weebly.com/my-hal ... -pipe.html

Second here is a Nose Warmer I finished up yesterday and sold this morn. The $75 I got for it *might* cover all the hard apple cider I drank making it! :)

Thanks for looking,
Bill

They both look good to me, especially considering the rustication was done with a bloody shiv.
I like the shape of the first. Like an Oom Paul, but the shank is angled out from the bowl. I like that a lot better than the vertical shank on the traditional shape.
I'd be afraid of it though, I might accidentally put it in the rack next to a bigger pipe....

Sweet baby Jesus, that's a couple of nice pipes. The Oom Paul could use some minor tweaks, but they'd be minor. Congrats!
