it is a alcochol based black stain, polishing and paraffin oil at the end...

I think this may be my favorite of the pipes you have done. This, and I think it was a lemon pipe some time back, have really impressed me. Great work as always!

no, no... it is a regular briar but this piece has not so much birdeye in grain pattern but more "lines" (don't know how to say it)... probably this is why you thought it is a different typy of wood
...

Daniel my man, that is cool. I don't think it would sell on the open market though so you'd better send it to me right away. I will keep it out of other people's hands. You just can't risk it and what are pipe fiends... I mean friends for.

Speechless! You made such a wonderful use of that grain. It looks fantastic! I have not seen a pipe that nice for a long time. Very much to my liking.
