blasted bent apple

Post by LAH »

Here's one I finished up last week. I also made a light box, so hopefully my pics look better. One thing that bothers me, is that the back of the bowl could match better with the front. As always, I would like to here your thoughts on the pipe.

I'm really digging your finishing work. This pipe has a great profile too.

Yeah probably the curve at the back of the bowl but hey overall nice pipe!

It's probably that the front starts it's curve downward just above where the back of the bowl would match. Look front the top of the shank bowl junction straight across to the front of the bowlin photo one and you will see what I'm thinking.

I don't see anything wrong with that pipe.

Just you wait until Sas applies his lines of doom to this bad rider.

Abe, you mentioned the back of the bowl, and I'd agree. I think if you just took a touch off right above the shank it would do a lot for it. I think it's a great pipe though - what are you asking for it?

I'm kinda worried about those lines of doom, although they can be a great teaching tool. Thanks for your thoughts on the back of the bowl. I haven't put it up for sale yet. I'm thinking $150 for the pipe. I'm still kinda at the stage where, I'm not to sure what is a reasonable price is for my work. But, I guess that's all part of this adventure.

Assuming the mechanics are all in order, I'd say $150 is more than a fair price for that pipe.

Totally love it. I can't find a bad thing to say about it.
