Re: P2011
Beautiful pipe (although it isn't your best)
Maybe a slightly more pronounced transition would be great

Re: P2011
shank extension is made from palm tree wood... yes - nice but a bit problematic to work with - black parts are hard as hell and brown parts are softer so some aditional attention when working with it is needed....

I thought that was palm, but the grain looked different than what I'm used to.
Great work

ATTENTION!!!! experienced pipemakers needed!!!
i need an opinion... a friend on one other forum suggested that the shank of this pipe is to short... from my point of view it is just right as the shank visually ends on the saddle of the mouthpiece... so, no need to change it... or am i wrong here??!
...
the change would be needed if the mouthpiece is without saddle - this way the shank would have to be a bit longer - visually...
right??!

dear friend
Think of it as only my personal view of things - but maybe a bit more would help the overall concept - curved line should be highlighted more - if you send furious preview a piece of my vision:)
the beauty of thy pipes but this does not detract from the beautiful and such as ....
this is only my amateur opinion dear sir

Re: P2011
The shank is a bit short, but you balanced that out with the use of the palm extension and the saddle stem.
Personally? The bowl is a bit "chunky", and slimming it down near the shank will help give the shank a little more length.
The shank could be longer, but it's a rather minor thing at this point, so I wouldn't sweat it. Just keep it in mind for the next pipe.

thank You Kurt ...
i was thinking - if i just removed a bit more material on the backside of the pipe (the side that is closer to the mouthpiece) - to remove the curve on the first white ring (i have material to do that) - it would look better for sure....
...
anyway - it is not a big deal - it is a big pipe - i like big . . . . . . errrmmm ... pipes hehehehehehe....
anyway - thank You dear Sir will be watching to solve this on my next one
