OK... 2 things:

1- YOU DID IT!!

2- wicked awesome pipe! The stamp on the bamboo plus darkened a bit (how'd you do that anyway): very classy!

I've never seen a pipemaker make themselves such a nice pipe (after they were selling their work, that is).

Thank you gentlemen,
Take a look in my gallery a the other pics of it. On the right side there was a booger I had to cover. I just couldn't rusticate the whole thing. I did a walnut shell etch, within a teardrop. Kind of a reverse on the old panels. Ben, the stampwas done after heating it with a cheapy candle that gives off too much carbon....just didn't wipe the stamp off, closed my eyes (LOL) and hoped for the best! Iwas going for that look. Thanks guys I'm glad you like it , as I said smokes great!

Dan that is a beautiful pipe. Very nice. I also love the stamp and the darkening around the knuckles on the bamboo...very classy look!

Great job.

Nice one, Dan. I "inherited" a pipe recently that turned out having a flaw on the bottom of the bowl. I sandblasted it, and am breaking it in with Black Duck.
