Enjoy

Other than your colt pipe that is my favorite of yours to date. I love the subtle asymmetry. Looks like you have this pipe making thing figured out. Great job.

Thanks.. it's starting to get weird.. as my 8th grade shop teacher used to say about when he looked at a piece of wood... just work the design out... it's actually nice to look at a block of wood and see the pipe already in there...

James, the only thing about this pipe I don't care for is the color of the stem...just don't think it matches the extension's color very well. That being said, I think this is one of your nicest shaped pipes yet and certainly some of your best stem work(just not the color, .) Nice pipe.

Wow...I think you just did a "leaps and bounds" sort of thing.

That pipe is in a new league for you.

Well done!

JMG and Nate - tks

Tyler.. I appreciate it... been spending a lot of time working over some of the insight I've been getting over here and through our discussions

I updated the pictures so they look different.. JMG .. check out the color now.. the yellow swirl accents the boxwood and color of the pipe.. just my opinion.

tks again

I like it, James! The shank cap is a nice complement and the shape, grain, and finish look great.

I agree with Tyler. That's a pretty big leap from your previous work and your previous work was pretty good. I do agree with JMG that a black stem would have looked more classy but the current stem choice is okay. Maybe it matches better in person. Nice job, James.

Micah and Wayne... the mouthpiece looks better in person.. but then the swirl is a personal choice..just have to hope it's not so personal that nobody wants it... I plan on buying more plan black here in the next few months.. but first I need to use all my other stock

thanks
