First bent from kit

This was my first pipe I did from a kit. It had a bad flaw on the shank, I did not finish it for this reason. I left it the way it was and regularly smoke it now.

Nice first effort. My advice would be the same that was given to me on my first few pipes..."Don't be afraid to remove more briar."

That was also the first advice I ever got.

I thus consequently sanded into the chamber or airway on the first 3 blocks I had a go at...

So: remove more briar, but watch what you're doing :-D

Yeah, I hate looking at pictures of kit pipes that look like someone just gave up on carving. I'm still working on removing enough to get the shank to bowl looking right. Thanks for the feedback.
