head is briar, two black rings are acrylic.. wooden one is made out of Field Maple (Acer campestre). Mouthpiece made from acrylic rod turned on lathe and finished by hand...

Wow, that's something new, and very interesting. I like it.
Not to worry, but be careful about twisting the stem if it gets tight. The thin part of the shank looks very fragile. Hold the shank near the thick end if you have to twist a tight stem in or out.

Don't worry Mike - the stem is not that hard to twist .. it goes preety smooth and nice... so, i do not worry .... up to down the shank part is 9mm and left to right it is arround 11mm...

I like the stummel but I just can't see that the stem flatters it or suits it. The curves are different and I'd say it's a half inch or more too long. :?:

i agree - the saddle part of the stem could follow the lines of the shank... i admitt that this would be better... :) :) :)

THAT is a really cool looking pipe. The rustication on the top of the bowl looks like a different process that the sides. What did you use for the top?

a pin point dremel tool :) sides are made with a ball like dremel tool :P
