Straw Poll - Interest in a Houston, Texas Pipe Club?

As far as I can tell, there is not an extant Pipe Club in Houston, Texas (if I am wrong in this, I would be pleased to be corrected, as well as provided with information on such a club). Presuming that there is not an extant club, who would be interested in joining / attending meetings? No commitments at this point, just a straw poll. I will check on other forums as well, and if there is adequate interest, I might be able to spend some time to develop a prospectus for a Club.

I actually thought about starting one in College Station this spring. I even got the ok from a local cigar/pipe shop to host the meetings. Houston is only about an hour away, so I would be interested. I would try to make it as much as I could with school going on.

Trey, Waco has a good active club or so I am told by the people from DFW who go occasionally. About 90 members with 15-20 in attendance. That drive from A&M to Waco shouldn't be too far for you. I think it meets on the fourth Tuesday. If you are interested let me know and I'll find out particulars for you. bob gilbert
