Other than the twin canyons on the bottom of the pipe, I'm fairly happy with the way this one turned out. I think that maybe the shank is a little too narrow. :?:

Also, I learned that it is a lot easier to hide mistakes on a curve than it is on a straight line. :wink:

As always, I am anxious for the benefit of your insightful criticism.

That's pretty darn good, especially for a first attempt. I'm impressed. I love the bulldog shape but hate making diamond shanks. Nice job!

Cool pipe! I really like bulldogs. I would think it would be a challenge to keep the diamond shank symetrical and you did it well. The stem reminds me of an old barling, ie comfortable.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback.

The hardest part for me was keeping the straight lines on the shank straight when I was refining the shank bowl transition. Sand just a little too much and you have an odd dip right where the shank meets the bowl :banghead: .
