I like the grain and the staining/polishing, but in my opinion the shank and stem are a bit too big.

Also, it looks as if the stem and shank aren't entirely flush?

it is a proper executed pipe,but i also agree on some details with massis.You definitively have the classical felling for pipes in your hands.

ps; another friendly advice ;there are some details to the pipe that just will not appear if you make your photos just on a blanket.Give it a chance and post on a calm and more distinguished background , it will also reflect on your pipe reaching to all of us out here.that way you will get some more feedback for sure.
