Cutty, or so...

Post by DaGamba »

I wanted to make a pipe to sort of resemble pipes of "the old time". Clay pipes and old wooden pipes in one piece. Found some pics on the Amsterdam museum homepage. Well, I think I manage some kind of rugged appearance but the shaping might be so so. There's not much left of the pipe, so not much room for improvement. Would love your thought on this one. 11,5 cm(4.527 559 055 inch. Yes I use a converter....) and 16 grams...
Well, here it is:

Thanks for looking. All the best,

DeGamba,

That is a fine pipe, nicely proportioned and well executed.

I like it.

Thank you Wayne. I would like to say that the unevenness is a design choice, but unfortunately not. It often happens when I stain rusticated pipes that these black areas appear and I don't really know why. Anyone have a clue?
Fortunately I think it looks pretty cool.... :D
