I was checking out some pipes today on eBay and came across this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Old-BLACK-H ... 3cb1d952a7
Kind of a false alarm as it really isn't "vintage," and I don't usually smoke filtered pipes, but if you scroll beneath the pix and read the description, it's hilarious! My favorite part is about making sure the cockroaches don't "patronage."
If you read it a second time like spoken word, it's even funnier.

Re: Lost in Translation?
On eBay, the word "vintage" seems to be a catch-all for something that even just remotely reminds someone of something more than five years old.
And I just read that description. And now my brane hurtz....

Yes. That sentence haunts me as much as the cockroach one disturbs me. What's a snow house?BeatusLiebowitz wrote:Pipe with snow house.

Can't you see, this guy's not a pipe salesman, he's a starving artist!... Who just happened to tell everyone why he's starving as an artist!
I would think the snow house is refering to the white ash through the center of the tobacco chamber when smoked too hot. But I dunno, I'll have to get back to ya after this guy clarifies his illustrious pipe poetry
