Commentary in possible refinements aside, this is a great pipe. I don't normally care for figural pipes, but this I like. The hat does it for me. I love the hat.

I'm also not a fan of figural pipes, but this one looks good. With & without the hat. I think the pipe would look better with a straight stem, but maybe that's just me. Other than that, really nice work man.

I think it's a great pipe. Very nice carving. The olive pipes that i've made darkened with smoking, increasing the contrast of the grain. I'm sure this pipe will look even better after it has been smoked a while.

Thats a fun pipe- but why is he angry?
It's a great conversation piece for sure.

I'd be pissed off if I had a fire smouldering in my head!

Very cool! I love it too. Great carving. So many inspiring pipes on this site. Is there a website for olive wood blocks?

Really great!! He does look kinda grouchy though. How come no one makes happy faces on pipes?

Then again, I'd be smiling like that if I had all that dope smoke passing through me (not to mention glazed eyes as well)!

Very nice carving. If I had any talent I might try something similar .... but I know better.
