O.T. Somewhat

Post by Catch »

My local woodturning club has challenges for every meeting. The challenge this time was snow people, so naturally I couldn't resist putting a pipe on mine. I am pretty happy with how the whole thing turned out let me know what you think.

The whole snowman is 13" x 5" not counting the arms.

I like it. How many pieces of wood make up the body and the hat?

There are 20 seperate pieces. Each arm has 4 different parts and every part except the hat has small tenons then fitted into holes in the body so they can't get knocked off too easily.

Sorry JBW, thats another reason I had to do it, because my daughter saw one and really wanted one for Christmas.
