Remember our friend

Post by kkendall »

For those that do - I would ask that you might remember a friend in your prayers... Horace DeJarnett, a pipe carver here in Phoenix.

Horace went into Mayo Hospital last Friday for a standard procedure to insert a stent in his aorta after discovering he had four aneurisms.

He had a heart attack the next day... and yesterday (Monday) he had quadruple by-pass surgery. This morning he was recovering in ICU.

When I was there Sunday - he was good spirits... When a technician came in to do an ultrasound of his heart, the tech asked if there were any questions he could answer.... Horace just asked "who cut your hair?".

Thankfully our medical technology worldwide has made huge amounts of progress in the last decade. And a positive attitude never hurts either. :)

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll keep him in my thoughts.

Thanks Kim, I've been wondering how he was doing. Glad he's in good spirits, that will go a long way with his recovery. He'll be in my thoughts for a quick recovery.
