Sharpening forstner bits

Post by hazmat »

Anyone have any suggestions for sharpening forstner bits? Mine is cutting kinda funny and I think it's dulled some.

Hell no. I just throw them away too.

I have learned how to re-grit sandpaper though. It saved me $13.00 last year alone.

Come on, out with it! I've spent countless hours of theoretical and practical work attempting to do just that! $13 doesn't sound like much until you spread it over 6 or 7 years! Wow! :)

You got it!

Other makers may scoff, but in only 4 years or so, you have enough to buy an extra block of briar!
