Using Sytem Three T-88 for bamboo

Post by bscofield »

And I don't mean to glue in tubing... I used it to do create the "jeweled" look on the outside of the bamboo by putting the epoxy dots of it in the circles on the knuckles. It's been over 48 hours and it's still tacky!! What's up with that?

T-88 is a 24-hour epoxy, and is sensitive to heat. A cool environment could easily push the cure time up to 48 hours. It's also very sensitive to being mixed *thoroughly*.
