tapered drill bit sizes

hi guys, thanks again for the help on every question i have!! one more question. kind of a funny one! i drill the rod stock with a 5/32 tapered bit. i was thinking for me it would be better to drill with the next size smaller. is the size a 3/52 or 4 .don't know!!! thanks, tim

Next size smaller would be a 9/64.
