Just finished this one tonight. Here's the pertinent info;
Modified poker (I think)
[edit] I forgot to say the weight--64 grams
Satin blast with virgin finish
Handcut Cumberland stem
French boxwood trim ring
5 1/2" long
2 3/8" high (bowl)
1 7/8" wide
.800" chamber
1.71" chamber deep
I'm loving this one... I'm really happy with how it came out. What do you all think?

The work looks very clean and true.
Great wood (box and briar) and nice shape that moves with the grain.
If I saw this at a show, I'd probably have to own it.
I use to love deeper sandblast, but I think this one is very good, excellent. I really love this pipe !!! This shape is very pleasant too. Well, I would like such a pipe in my collection
Hey guys,
Wow! Thanks for the great comments! Just to let you all know, I offered this pipe to someone for evaluation--if they accept my offer, it won't be listed for sale in the gallery--it'll go straight to past work.
Thanks everyone--the person I offered it to accepted so I moved it over to "Past Work" on my site. Hopefully I'll be able to do more of this shape in the future.
Nick wrote:Really nice buddy! Great looking blast too. The only critique I have is that the foot looks a bit too angular. Though this may be just the photgraph.
Thanks Nick! The angle on the foot was the price I had to pay for it to be a sitter--there's quite of bit of shank and stem out there to balance.
Dave,
Forgive an old mans' $.02, coupled with the fact that I just woke up, and haven't got a full cup of coffee down my gullot.....but it seems to me that yes, it's angular, but it flows with the grain, and I think it flows nicley.
