Mark goes to all the pipe shows, sets up a huge display (it actually requires a craftsman rolling box for the tools and brackets and such). he is always first on line at set-up at the crack of dawn because it takes him at least an hour to put his display together. To this date I have only seen him sell one pipe, a custom job for I think John Seiler, tamper maker and author of pipe smoker science fiction stories http://users.telerama.com/~seilerjp/index.htm. i think he probably sells many more but I have only seen one being smoked or bought. Many of the figurals are quite good.

btw.... Mark, the Bacart guy is a classical concert pianist, if you are lucky there will be a piano in the lobby of a show hotel where sometimes Mark will sit and decide to play.

It's amazing the diverse backgrounds represented by folk in this forum.
