Canadian "Lemmy"

Post by maxmil »

Eddie Constantine was an actor born in the United States but developed her career film actor in France. He played secret agent Lemmy Caution in a series of six films last, he was already very old, titled "Alphaville, une aventure étrange Lemmy Caution". I pass very well, in my youth, seeing their police adventures. At this actor I dedicate this pipe.
Best regards.

Stunning! I'm not smart enough to know if it's normal to the shape, but I really like the flat ridge on the bottom. Also, I can't even imagine trying to accurately carve such a thin long shank!

My opinion's not worth much, because I have no idea what I'm talking about... but in my very humble opinion... well done!

EDIT: I just realized you probably use a lathe to form the shank. I'm an idiot. I forget you guys are actual pipe makers... I was imagining everyone sitting on their back porches with files and sand paper like me. HA!

Translating English to english, I think he is saying he doesnt use a lathe. Which is pretty amazing.

No I do not use a lathe; I use only the view.
Thanks for the clarification.
Best regards.

Beautiful pipe, Felix. I think I would like the stem more if the taper began closer to the shank, but still a lovely pipe.

This. The stem looks bulgy. It would be very elegant with a better taper. Other than that, great looking pipe!

Ditto on the stem! But I wouldn't say no to a pipe like that at all! Nicely done
