I haven't posted for a while, for whatever reasons, but I thought I'd better myself. I have a couple of pipes ready for posting, but I'll start with the latest. Just finished this one Sunday, last day of my vacation. Guess things will slow down in the workshop again... :(
Anyway, here goes!

No, that's right, I'm still no wiz with the camera... and yes I could've wiped the thing off...

Well done. The rustication makes it look just a little bit like a cob, too, which is a fun visual effect.

A couple of things would turn this pipe from good to spectacular. First you need to define the back cheeks of the bowl from the shank a little more. From the bottom view it should look like a shank merging into a circle, not an egg. Second, you should slim down the stem, not at the bite zone but along the entire length. This will make the design much more elegant. Add a little more contour to the rim and you'll have one awesome pipe.

This is a great pipe and it demonstrates a good eye. Keep up the good work.

Thank you all so much for your kind words! They mean a lot for encouragement and motivation! :D

And also for your points Jesse, they all make sense and I've noted them down! There's always the next pipe right..?

Jesse got it spot on. Personally, I also like billiards where the back mirrors the front when seen from the side.
