I cannot get my head around the whole blasting setup thing, cfm, psi, tank size, nozzle, media etc etc. The more I read the more confusing it gets.
This is the compressor I'm looking at:

From what I can understand this is underpowered but will do the job if slowly.
The way to get the media into the hose? Syphon, Pot or what.
It will be a DIY cabinet so some idea of size would be appreciated.
This has got me stumped and it is driving me NUTS
BLASTING CONFUSION
Re: BLASTING CONFUSION
This is the compressor I have, it will serve very nicely. It's the biggest single phase compressor I could find that was also affordable and has served me very well for a couple of years now. When blasting at full tilt it will be running almost constantly but it has plenty of oomph to keep up.

Re: BLASTING CONFUSION
A two stage will give you more possibilities than a single stage. You may be able to make this one work, but it is going to wear down your unit quicker than if you have more power than you need. I bought a belaure 218V and have been very pleased with it. I shouldn't ever need to replace it.
