I looked at buying a ticket since I'm now self employed- unfortunately buying on such short notice is EXPENSIVE!

2 weeks is enough time for good prices, you just live in a place where tickets anywhere are unreasonable. You may be able to get a deal on priceline, but then you are stuck with the timings they give you.

Yeah, I think I should probably just focus on finishing up my commissions list and getting some shapes started for Chicago.
