So I guess this will be my first post. I'm hoping to start doing pipes soon but until I get to that point I've been making tampers for a couple months now and selling them online and to friends. It's a lot of fun so far. Tonight I pulled of my ultimate design and I'm really excited and I wanted to share with you guys the results.
This tamper is completely handmade by me in my garage. Here are some of my other designs that I have finished if you guys would be interested in taking
a look. http://www.flickr.com/photos/78785918@N ... 821039393/
Thanks for adding me to the group, I look forward to learning a lot.

Re: Handmade Solid Brass and Stainless Tampers
why didnt i think of that? i need one shaped like the stanley cup. nice work!
Re: Handmade Solid Brass and Stainless Tampers
You say you're selling these? I'd love a brass version of the torpedo shaped one w/ the double lines at the top and bottom of it. Does that one also have a reamer/poker within it - like your latest one does?
