Make sure the bottom of the bowl is concentric with the top especially under the shank. The tapered shank doesn't work with this shape, IMHO. Stemwork needs a good deal of work and refining.

Welcome. My question - this mouthpiece and connecting mouthpiece to the shank is good or bad? How should I do it? I know that shank has curved and it`s my mistake.

If you mean how does it look, then its' fine.I don't us bamboo for inlay. You may want to stabilize the mortise.I don't know if bamboo will hold up over time used like that.If I did I would have made the tenon longer and had more of it in the ebonite. Facing is where you make the surfaces perfectly flat so there is no space in between.ie: stem to shank.I make my own 9mm tenons out of delrin, strength is never a problem.I would seal that open end on the bamboo.Hope this helps.

The face of the shank is the end of it where it meets the face of the stem.

There's still too much meat behind the button, and on the button itself. Also, the button should either follow the cross-sectional contour of the bite zone, or be slightly taller in the center, not taller on the sides.

Overall, a nice pipe.

Like LL said, the button wants to arch up higher in the center & lower on the ends. And you're getting there as far as sculpting the way the bottom of the bowl rounds down and where it meets the shank, & the shank-stem junction, but I bet you'll do better at those in future works. Rome wasn't built in a day :D

You're on the target -- now it's about dialing in the X ring (target shooting metaphor).

IMO

I like where you're going with the shaping of your stummels.
The stems still need a lot of work.
Keep going, it's in the right direction.

I recommend you look up and watch Walt Cannoy's youtube video on shaping a billiard. There is much that can be learned from watching it. Also, when you post a new pipe, you might want to start a new thread. It will make it easier for people to view your posts.
