What would be the latest date to join this fun project? I have only made 12 pipes and I wouldn't want to look foolish, I need practice. Are there any really novice pipemakers taking part?

I'm a true novice, I've only finished 3 pipes so far. I've got two more in the works right now, a small apple and I just started my PITH pipe. My pipe may not end up as nice as the ones from more seasoned pipe makers on the forum but I am looking forward to the challenge.

There is do deadline to join the PITH, just as long as you have your pipe finished by Sept. 30th. Notow, I'm gonna put you on the list. Come join the fun. This contest is about learning, experimenting with new techniques and then getting an honest critique from another maker. No one is going to make you look foolish...if they try I'll beet (hahahahahaha...God, I love this theme!! ) them to death.

I'm in Scottie. I'll find time to pump one out. Just as long as I get a thorough review this time around.

BC it's any fruit, vegetable or nut you want to carve. The shank requirement is that is must be at least twice the length of the bowl height. We've decided that for you though, it has to be at least four times that and you also cannot use bamboo......not really. However you have to get there is fine. Just make sure all extensions are on the shank....not the stem.
