Thank you all for your suggestions on my dust collection woes Steve showed a you tube video of Chris Askwiths set up and it looked like like something worth a try. So here it is certainly not my idea but does it work? Yes absolutely My old set up was set too high above the vaccum.
Now the wheel is partially in dust tube making it much easier for dust collection thanx again

What did you cut that pvc tube with, Bob? That stuff can be a bag.

Good idea. Although, for me personally, I would have to make the area to the left bigger.

Nice job. On mine I have a steel tube that is connected to the extraction pipe, I found that the 100mm carboard poster type tubes slide over this quite nicely. Since cardboard tubes are cheap (free) and easy to cut I made up a couple of different size openings to suit the wheels I use and it takes only seconds to change out if needed.

Brilliant! I've been trying to think of good ways to update my dust collection and I've got a few of the cardboard tubes lying around. Thanks for this idea, Chris!
