W. Ø. Larsen's original tobacco shop in Copenhagen

W. Ø. Larsen, the old and famous tobacco house, first started as a Pipe and Tobacco Shop in Copenhagen. The shop was first opened in 1864 and has been in continuous operation and in the same family ever since. The tobacco house, which produces the tinned tobacco, is still open and operating but their tobacco shop closed in the beginning of February this year. It is certainly sad to see another icon of our's disappear!
