Kansas City 2013 Show & Carving Contest

Hi, guys.
Just a heads-up/reminder that the KC show is coming up in June. It is no longer a regional show, but is rapidly becoming a "destination" one. It's also probably the classiest on the planet---premium hotel on manicured/forested grounds, surrounded by top-shelf shopping and restaurants, etc.
It is also the home of the North American Pipe Makers Carving Contest. This year the shape is the Dublin/Cutty/Zulu/Yachtsman/Belge family. It should be the best one yet. Each year there are more pipes entered, and a greater number of famous name carvers on the list. It isn't too late to start working on an entry. (the judging is blind, btw, so don't think you have no chance... reputation and previous work counts for nothing. The one pipe entered is all that matters.)
