So I'm hoping to do some editing on Pipedia to grow that jewel of knowledge and during my research I stumbled upon the North American Society of Pipe Collectors.
How did this southern boy smoke for half a decade not know these guys even existed?
I make my living in the firearms and ammunition business and was wondering if these chaps are to pipes what the NRA is for gun owners?
Anyone have input or opinion so as to enlighten their usefulness or recent experiences?

I signed up a few years ago when I started making dust... for the whole year, every newsletter was packed (front-to-back) with pissing contests on the subject of fills in pipes. (and I do mean pissing contests between the writers of all the articles)
By the time the 4th issue arrived, I didn't even want to open it... sure enough, same crap.
I never went back.

Kim,
Funny how I found them. I noticed a Pipeman of The Year from the British Pipesmokers Council and I wondered what we had in America as such a society and found them.
I joined and hope it has matured some.
