I need help (my wife will agree ), so tell me the wrongs for all the right reasons!

Re: #1224 and #1225
Here it is: they're really nice.
A few things, though, to take them from nice to I-want-to-buy-them nice.
The saddle might look better if it was domed like the bit, so the lines from the bit to the saddle are more thin. like-a dis (http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/l ... t_id=94216).
And this is just a personal preference, but I like a little more forward cant to the bowl.
Last thing, I promise. Maybe a slight dome to the rims would make them slightly more visually appealing, just by softening the hard lines, so it would echo the rest of the pipe.
Just thoughts. But again, very nice

Very nice.
What stain did you use to get that color?
Thanks,
Rick
