I like it too, nice contrast stain with the black bamboo!

However it seems that there is a slight bend to the bamboo (at least on my screen), which the stem does not follow. Maybe a slight bend on the stem to keep the flow of the bamboo? Just my thought when I looked at the photos.

Good job!

Best regards, Jon

I like this one too. I the Ivory ring looks great, and I think it's a nice touch. I like the bend in the stummel too. I would agree on the bend of the stem. My eye was searching for it like it's supposed to be there or something. I don't think I'd bend it much if you did decide to, but it might finish the look.

Looks great though.

I like this pipe. I wouldn't bend the stem unless you were going to bend the bamboo.

That's a nice one! I agree with Ernie on the stem. The straight stem looks right in relation to the tobacco chamber, and bending the stem along that ever so slight bend in the bamboo would give a hawkbill sort of look, which has its place but I'm not really a fan. Good work!

I like it. The bamboo "fits" the stummel. I think the assymetric variations in the bamboo stem perfectly compliment the assymetricity of the stummel. My only question is the stummel bamboo also, or briar? The outside stain and the inside of the bowl are throwing me off.

The stummel is briar. The walls of the chamber are uncoated, so you're seeing clean briar on the inside.
