Here is the link to the album. I got this one and my last one from Sinan over at Altonik Pipes. I have yet to have a bad experience with him personally speaking. So if anyone is looking for a new meer, go talk to him, he will def. take very good care of you. Let me know what y'all think of the pipe It's pretty freaking HUGE.

You can always use the zoom on your browser if your having trouble viewing the pictures. I can also have one of these put on a canvas the size of your front door and ship it to ya, you know, so you can really soak in that detail.wdteipen wrote:We need larger, more detailed photos. Thanks.

Nice. Funny though, I've had 8 or 10 meers over my pipe smoking career and every one, every one had a restricted draw. At that time, I wasn't working on pipes and just put them aside. Maybe I should go back and try to open them up some.

From what I've been told and having been on the outside looking in if you are buying a Meer, don't go through Ebay (most of the time). Go through a dealer like Altinok or Baki or S. Yanik. My two Altinok's have a damn near perfect draw.wmolaw wrote:Nice. Funny though, I've had 8 or 10 meers over my pipe smoking career and every one, every one had a restricted draw. These were all new meers, none through E-Bay. In fact, I don't even think E-Bay was around when I purchased these!bbeberle wrote:From what I've been told and having been on the outside looking in if you are buying a Meer, don't go through Ebay (most of the time). May have to give them another look see, though I do love a briar pipe!

For me personally, seeing such a dramatic change in color has always intrigued me. I enjoy just sitting and smoking but also working towards an end goal of "putting in time" on a piece of art. Now as far as carving and making goes, I am VERY VERY excited about Briar's, even if I don't smoke them. I would love to see your Meer stock if you have any left. Post up some pics on this thread sometime.wmolaw wrote:These were all new meers, none through E-Bay.
