I cannot get dyes shipped to Cali anymore, I of course would never buy them in Nevada and drive them back, but I was just wondering so I could prepare for any temptation

No. It is really not that big of a show that those type vendors will be there.

Carolyn from PME will be there with a couple of tables. If you email her and let her know that you want some she will bring them with her.

You can't get leather dye shipped into CA!!?? What in the hell are they "protecting" you from? And how do they know what's in the package?

Gosh, Fiebings has been at every show I've attended. Heck, pipe maker's are the greatest percentage of their sales. Forget the leather trade, the handful of pipe artisans that use approx. .5 gram of dye per pipe is astronomical versus all the others that use their "leather" dye for leather. Dang, a belt would use at least .25 oz. and a purse..........who knows. The pipe market is where their dinners come from!

Don't feel bad Rev. You just need a little more time to get to know these knuckleheads. There's no malice in them at all. They just like to have a good time. By far, one of the best group of guys in the world. Except for Sas, he's just an asshole

Actually, Tandy's here in CA don't carry any alcohol based stains anymore. Fiebings makes a special "solvent-based" leather dye that's very comparable, only for market here in CA. Which tandy's sells. Its quite decent. Here's the link http://www.fiebing.com/catalogue/dyes/?product=178
