I like it a lot actually, but one thing concerns me: it looks like it is supposed to be a sitter, yet does it sit? The shank looks a bit heavy.

I agree with Ocelot that the shank is a bit on the plump side.
Was it intended to be a "sitter"? If so, it looks to me like the bottom would have to be cut at a very severe angle to make it so.
If there was no intent for it to be sitter then a little diet for the shank would make it perfect.

I must say I never intended it to be a sitter :oops: ! I just saw the shape in the block, made it and now it doesn't sit :lol: It does balance on the heel and shank though, if that means anything :roll:

Regardless, it's still a beautiful pipe. I found myself mezmorized by the growth rings.
