So I felt I should share this website with all of you. Robert Bates is an extremely talented artist and a war hardened hero. We served together in the Corps for the 4 yrs proceeding 9/11, so naturally a very strong friendship was forged between us. Regardless of your personal opinions about the current conflicts, I invite you all to read through his website and admire his work. His art is featured in the National Museum of the Marine Corps, and some of the subjects of his work were good friends and outstanding Marines. Semper Fi.

Wow, that is some of the most realistic graphite work I've seen in a long time. What an incredibly talented artist.

Wow! I've only known one other person whose work in graphite could even come close to his. Impressive to say the least!
