oh now that's funny!

On the other hand, what's kind of sad is that for every 1 of those ebay auctions there's like 10 suckers who he has a chance to sell to... :D

What an incredible pipe. The design is so...symmetrical! I think that it's inspired me to go for that more minimalistic approach with my next design! Bid away fellas!

Heehehe. I saw that pipe in a store the other day. The finish was a bit more natural, but it was definatly the same pipe.

And it is carved from a SINGLE piece of briar! What a concept! And to think I have been using 2 blocks, one for the shank and one for the bowl ! And the rubber stamping is nothing short of genius

I don't think any of us will make the argument that smoking even an occasional pipe is good for us...but I equate it with a pint of Guinness or a wonderful irish whiskey with ice...in moderation, they are all just "the finer things in life" which I for one would sorely miss. What would life be without the simple enjoyments?

jthpipes, it was a drilled eubachon with a stem in it. Quite humorous to look at. But the description was better tho. The guy claimed that it was some new dane that just recently hit the market with great pipes like the one listed...

oh sheesh... I never looked at it more than once so I don't know if anyone bid.

But have you seen the incredible dryer lint pipe on ebay right now?

I am not sure how to take this.... I would say the listing was a joke, but the idea that 49 people bid on it seems strange. and the questions asked...? is there a secret funny ebay society that I should be a part of? I like funny, and I LOVE ebay pipes...

It's called ASP. The lint pipe is part of a long-standing and ongoing joke.

Yep, and Scott Curtis, the guy selling the pipe, initially started it as a joke. However, when it actually got bids, he decided to donate all proceeds to PIF (a charitable org) and then bidding *really* took off.

Pipe people are wierd people. Good people, but wierd!!!

Dryer lint belongs in the dryer. Can't imagine owning it - buying it as a gag, yes. Not for keeps though!!!!

We need an *ICK!!!* emoticon!
