No gaudy colours any more ...

Post by Walle »

Comrades!

While "some" of our American competitors are tying hard to attract their customers with pipes in gaudy colours, we Europeans have retuned to decent staining again.

I am somehow reminded of "The Fortress of Solitude".

Really cool, Walle.

Well done sir!

By the way, I hadn't been to your site for a while, Walle....the pipes you have on display there right now are so fantastic! I love the little creatures! I want one to crawl up out of my garden and into my pipe rack! :) :)

Wow nice. Its amazing how you make obscure design ideas work so well.
A few coats of Day-Glo neon spraypaint would look just spiffy though.

Fine, Walle,
I did not want to like your pipes. In fact, I thought they were downright crazy (especially for a German--you guys are all supposed to be about making sense), but, fine....I submit :notworthy:

Those are some of the coolest pipes I've seen EVER! I want like, eight of them!
Is this from the Castle Grey Skull collection (don't know if you guys have "He-Man" in Deutschland)?

AWESOME, AWESOME work. Some of the most creative stuff I've seen anywhere and I really like the stem pairings. You seem to have a found a way (in your stem work) to balance what could be a very difficult shape to pair with a stem. Okay, now that I've been converted, I'll have to go back through the gallery to look at some of your past work so that I can preach the gospel of Wallenstein to anyone that will listen:

Typical Heathen: "What's up with Vaa...Wallenstein's pipes? Is he out of his mind??"

Sorringowl: "No, he's not crazy, man...believe me...he's just...just...ECCENTRIC! A creative GENIUS!"

Oh, boy, now I even sound like a convert. In all seriousness, though, I'm really impressed with these. Beautiful work. Thanks for the inspiration.
