I really like the top pipe. It's got a great 'chunky' quality to it but has smooth, curving lines. Almost like an author, which is a shape I love but don't see very often.

The top pipe works better than the bottom for me - all curves and fatly powerful - like an opera singer.

The bottom pipe I'm not as fond of - carving a little curve into the shank would have relaxed the shape more, and the I think the bowl shape could use that. As it is, the bowl kind of outweighs the shank, to my eye, or the styles aren't quite the same somehow....

Nicely made pipes though.

Very nice pipes.
I do like the top one better though.

Thanks guys.
Sas, the bottom pipe is a bit without ooomph, yes. I originally intended the shank to be much bulkier, but then ze flaw appeared. :(

Great looking pipes. I actually prefer the bottom pipe best.

Hi Charl,
both pipes are beautifully shaped and executed!
1109 is my favorite, the full oval shape body is predestined to be enjoyed with some Virgina Flake :D

Best,
Abi

I really like the flow of the first pipe. I agree with Sas on the second. The shank is too small for the size of the bowl. If you thinned out the bowl and bit it would work. Both are otherwise nicely done. I really like your button work. Reminds me a bit of Walle's buttons which are super comfortable.
