Tenon Diameter
I've been using the 5/16"OD Delrin rod for my tenons lately and really like the feel and performance of that material. I would like to attempt some pencil shanks and wanted to get the low down on diameter and air hole diameter.

You can use 9/32 or 1/4, and for extremely thin shanks, stainless steel. I use 5/32 for the airway.

Ditto on the 1/4" and stainless tubing. Look at McMaster-Carr #8987K443 - 304 stainless, .18" outer diameter and .16" inner. Fits great in a 3/16" hole.
