something, something
Don't know what to call this thing. "Canted rounded out of shape Lovat reversed taperd stem" maybe...
Would love your thoughts on this one though.
All the best,

I like that a lot. Very well made and beautiful composition. It reminds me of a chess piece. Very cool.

You're right, Wayne. Now I see it. Looks great to me now that someone has given me a perspective!wdteipen wrote:I like that a lot. Very well made and beautiful composition. It reminds me of a chess piece. Very cool.

Thanks a lot for your kind words guys.
Hm. That's an idea. Could team up with Tom Eltang to mach his chess board pipes...wdteipen wrote:I like that a lot. Very well made and beautiful composition. It reminds me of a chess piece. Very cool.

Re: something, something
I'd call it a "Brandy Hammer." Not a "Pretty" pipe, but very unique and interesting. Damned nice. I like it, and the stain work is also unique and excellent.

Re: something, something
Wayne nailed it. It's like a demented nicotine addicted chess piece. Once again a beautiful finish.

Re: something, something
The bowl is quite symmetric, and so it's the shank. They are unaligned, thought, and the flow is broken, but it looks like a design decision instead of a mistake. I like it.
Re: something, something
I don't quite understand this, sorry. Could you explain it more in detail, please? I'm specially interested in how the flow is broken. We don't want no broken flow in our pipes, do we?!Leus wrote:The bowl is quite symmetric, and so it's the shank. Re: something, something
I like the style and color of your pipe. Maybe you could call it a "Ward Cleaver". Just a thought
Re: something, something
I bought this pipe from Pär over six years ago. I was smoking it today and thought I'd post of pic of it. It's been a really great smoker. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea shape wise, but I loved how unique it was. Pär...start making pipes again. (My pic is crap...the pipe actually still has some cool color variations.)

Re: something, something
Very cool, showing it again! I love looking at pipes that I made years ago that's been smoked, how it changed colour, how it's still holding up, see mistakes that I made.
Re: something, something
I am sometime embarrassed by pipes that I've made in the past, and frequently don't remember making some of them 40 years ago. They show up at my pipe club on occasion.
Still, it is fun.
