This is my first and second sandblast pipe, the black one is the first one, I need to make it black because the woodblock are not the best I have see. The second one the wood is must better, and I decide to make it light brown.

I hope someone have criticism on those two pipe, and I will appreciate all.

Hi Genosse Carsten, here is my sharp criticism;that is beautiful work!
This horn has a great S shaped flow beautifully and precisely integrated into the rustic finish , breathtaking! If you find flaws on this one, means it is the time of the year to visit your local ophthalmologist.

The Billiard with the Thai-flower is a winner!

Congrats ,what else?!
Best,
Abi

Both pipes I like a lot, but especially the Horn. Two magnificent works.
Regards.
Felix

Ambas pipas me gustan mucho, pero sobre todo la Horn. Dos magníficos trabajos.
Saludos.

The billiard is really very nice, but the first is certainly my style indeed...very, very nice. NIce choice to contrast the rim.

Great looking pipe, and very nice photo composition, also. I was just looking at some Poul Ilsted hexagonal horns at a German dealer, priced 3500.-€ to 18000.-€ and I think I like your pipe better.
Only one criticism, and this applies to every sandblasted pipe I have ever seen. I don't like the unblasted area on the bottom where the pipe is stamped, but how else can you do that?
Great work.

Carsten, I like the horn a lot. The shape is quite interesting and it flows nicely. I think the stem on the billiard is probably a bit too long, but I generally don't prefer long stems, so take that as you will.

Good work!

Thank you. - I appreciated all criticisms and comment, your comment motivate me a lot, and give me energy to work more. Sometime I dream me back to Denmark with all the pipemaker, in Thailand there are no pipemaker, and very few pipesmoker.

Abi I will think about to visit a ophthalmologist, my little daughter three and half year often tell when I throw a pipe in the trash can, - dad you should go and check your eye!! Maybe you know but the Thai flower have the most beautiful smell, like a parfume.

Mike I agree, you are right in your opinion about the unblasted area on the bottom where the stamp is. The design of the area can better, but I think it is difficult to stamp on the blasted area, maybe a laser engraving can do the job!! But expensive machine.
Thank you for comment my photo, I very appreciate this comment from you, because your photo are so good and beautiful.
