Arran Quay

Comrades!

Unfortunately the briar had horrible "scars" which couldn´d be healed properly - not even with driftwood-treatment.
Shall I try to sell it anyway? Or is it just too ugly?

What would you lads recommend?

I can give you an address you can send it to. In there it will be disposed properly and you won't have to worry.

Intense and very distinguished looking pipe ,the texture and coloration absolutely a hit and it seems that you have managed to integrate the flaws -flawless !
Congrats on this one

Hey Walle,
I have to say that, with all due respect to your incredible talent, usually, your pipes are not my cup o' tea. However, I REALLY like this one. It is bold, sculptural and I really like the shape. I think, instead of putting it out to pasture, you should rename it Rock of Gibraltar! What manly man wouldn't want to smoke out of a rock? (Okay, guys, no crack jokes.)

Nice work, Walle! I'm officially a fan.

Roger, buddy....ole pal.....with those flaws I would gift it to a good buddy overseas.

Seriously, I think that is an awesome shape and an awesome pipe, perhaps my favorite of your so far. The finish reminds me of river birch which I've always loved the look and texture of. That being said, the flaw on the left of the shank and the one on the bottom of the pipe are a bit too big to say they add to the texture and overall design of the pipe. If it were me, I would either sell it as a discounted second, gift it to a friend, keep it to smoke for yourself, or use it to barter with another pipemaker for pipes or material.

Walle,

Another great shape. I really like this one. I'm particularly fond of that orange color, too. Thanks for sharing!
